I attended my first demolition derby last night at the Garfield County Fair in Rifle Colorado. As expected, there was carnage, boiling radiators, and lots of old american V8 noise out of zoomies. Kind of amazing how beat to shit they were and could still motor around the dirt!

It always amazes me just how much you can abuse those cars and they keep running.

It’s amazing how much of a beating some older cars can take. I ran a ‘94 Pontiac Sunbird last year and the little thing refused to die.

I feel I criminally underestimate how much fun participating in a demolition derby would actually be, I keep forgetting they exist tbh.
